Serenade, with Larsen and Henry, Ends Off-Broadway Run Dec. 15

The new musical Serenade plays its final performance at Teatro La Tea in Manhattan Dec. 15. The world-premiere production, which officially opened Dec. 9, is the first offering from the fledgling Jaradoa Theater company. Previews for the limited engagement began Dec. 1.

The original musical co-stars In the Heights' Joshua Henry and Xanadu's Anika Larsen. Directed by April Nickell, the company also boasts Sara Andreas, Ron Bagden, Anton Briones, Joe Donohoe, Mindy Dougherty, Michael Fielder, Chris Harbur, Amanda Hunt, Adam Kaokept, Nicole Lewis, Mario Martinez, Kelly McCreary, Eileen Rivera, Robb Sapp, Cara Samantha Scherker and Alison Solomon.

Masked To Play Final Performance Off-Broadway Dec. 30

Producers of the Off-Broadway drama Masked have announced that the production will play its final performance at the DR2 on Dec. 30.

Penned by Israeli-born playwright Ilan Hatsor, Masked began performances July 20 and officially opened Aug. 2, earning many positive reviews from major New York and national publications. Upon its final performance Dec. 30, Masked will have played 15 previews and 165 regular performances.

Gone Missing Will End Off-Broadway Run in January 2008

The popular musical Gone Missing, which has extended its run twice at the Barrow Street Theatre, will play its final performance at the Off-Broadway venue Jan. 6, 2008.

Gone Missing opened at the Barrow Street June 24. The production was initially extended through Sept. 16 and then for a second time through the beginning of the year. The production will now close Jan. 6.
