Harold & Miriam Steinberg Center - Laura Pels Theatre/Black Box Theatre (SC) – Various shifts; Matinee a must.

REQUIREMENTS: Individuals must be customer service oriented. Neat appearance with good communication skills required.

WHEN: The shows play Tuesday thru Sunday; Matinees on Wednesday and Saturday; Sunday Matinee – depending upon show schedule.

General Management Intern - Stuart Thompson Productions

WHO: Stuart Thompson Productions

SEEKING: An energetic individual for a full time fall general management internship.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: general administrative duties, coordinating house seats, helping to maintain office files, theatre research projects, maintaining script files and assisting the company managers of a number of Broadway shows.

REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must have:

• Outstanding phone skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

• Strong organizational skills and work ethic

• Strong analytical skills

• Must be detail oriented

• An interest in and understanding of the theater industry

• Enthusiasm for and dedication to the job

Full time availability required.

WHEN: Interviews will take place as soon as possible; internships to begin immediately thereafter.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Work with Director and creative team on projection design. The Projections Designer will be responsible for the designs and programming on day of tech (October 8).

REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to work with 7k projector that is run through a Macbook Pro (w/ QLab and Isadora for playback).

Production Staff - DiStar Productions

WHO: DiStar Productions

SEEKING: Production Staff (including Assistant Stage Managers and Production Assistants) 

RESPONSIBILITIES: Assistant Stage Manager: Duties include and are not limited to: assisting in set-up/tear down of rehearsal, keeping track of actors and props, tracking actor conflicts, maintaining/distributing calendars and schedules, attending all rehearsals, production meetings and performances, and managing the deck during performances. 

Production Assistants: Duties include but not limited to: attend all rehearsals and performances, assist in set-up/tear down of rehearsal, run occasional errands as needed, make photocopies, serve as run crew (spot op, sound op, etc.) during performances as demand dictates.

REQUIREMENTS: Must be available for most if not all of rehearsal period, all of load-in, tech, and run.

SEEKING: Interns and Work-Study Students

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Work study students, will work the front desk, help set up the classes, or assist office personnel.

- Interns will also work in the office with specific tasks and responsibilities.There are 3 hour shifts available for cleaning please indicate if interested.

PAY:

- Interns are offered either FREE UNLIMITED CLASSES or performance and rehearsal space for one production in exchange for a minimum of 20 hours per week (rehearsal hours and performances depend on the hours worked)

- As a Work Study Student you will receive a value of $11 dollars for each hour worked and will only pay $3 per dance class, but must commit to work one permanent 6 hour shift per week for a 3 month period. If unavailable to work on a particular week, the student is responsible to cover the shift from our list of work study students, but need to work if unable to find coverage or will lose work study position.
