Introducing the new and improved Producer’s Perspective!
Whatta ya think? Like the new look?
My blog got a face-lift last night, and some skin-bleaching as well, so if you're reading this in an email or in an RSS feed, click here to view the new site and check it out!
We've gotten a lot more organized to help you find the things that you're looking for, from jobs to resources, to the most popular blogs from the last 2.5 years.
As always, feedback is encouraged. Comment by clicking on the comment button below this entry (email subscribers, you have to visit the site first).

For those of you who like reading on the web, my blogs go live every weekday at 11 AM EST. As regular as a morning show.
Special thanks to my design team of one, Ms. JLB, for the new 'do.
Let me know what you think!
Oh, and if your site needs a facelift, get to it. The great thing about websites is that you can add new features in seconds. The bad thing is that after a year or so of new features, they start to look like Mr. Potato Head.
After a while, you gotta take off the nose, the ears and start all over again.

Thank you! Much easier to read! I liked the old design too but this is much easier on the eyes.

The white on black was killing my eyes and I’m LOVING the redesign.

Looks great! much easier on the eyes and it looks nice and fresh.

Ken,
It’s organized but I can’t get used to the white. Creatively speaking, I work much better in the dark so the black was great! Plus your picture popped and looked much more powerful. I will try to get used to it. It’s just not working for me right now.

Love the new look!
I like the organization, but I think the white makes your site look..cheaper (but your blog is still great!). Maybe a lighter color, or change the color combinations. Not sure red and white go well together.
Black is very NYC but hard on the eyes. Thanks, Ken. Looks great!
The black looked sleeker and sexier- that is if a blog page can be sexy. I enjoy that there are a lot more links and places to go from the “main blog page” I love the links on the side to Jobs, Resources, Ken’s Books etc.; however, can that toolbar be on all those link-ed pages? Just because there is no easy way to come back to the “home” blog page after you have clicked away or if you want to go from the “Ken’s Books” page directly to the “jobs/resources” page, you have to hit the back button a couple times.
Love the blog whether the layout changes stay or go. Thanks!
I like it. Cleaner, easier to read.
Hmmmm … not that I’m averse to change, but I liked the darker one better because it made the images (especially of you) sharper. Also … somehow the old version fit my screen better – the text flow was easier to follow and my eye could see more with one glance. I like the Twitter feed tho.
Great job. Looking good!
I do like the cleaner look of the white and it’s easier on the eyes which is really nice!
