SEEKING: THE RIDE, a new live entertainment experience that unfolds on the streets of midtown Manhattan, is searching for swing street performers. Street Performers are hourly employees at THE RIDE. Street Performer Roles:

NEW YEARS EVE GUY: A man who has not left Times Square since the Millenium New Years Eve celebration – he lives for New Years. 20s/30s.

TAP DANCER: A business man with a secret. 30s/40s. Must have extensive tap training.

HIP-HOP DANCER: A delivery man with a funky beat. 20s/30s, must have an extensive hip hop dance background.

FREESTYLE RAPPER: A street vendor hawking questionable wares. 20s/30s. Must have impeccable free style rapping skills, and be able to incorporate facts about audience members seamlessly into performance.

BROADWAY HOPEFUL: Newbie to New York and aspiring Broadway actor/actress. 20s. Must have a musical theatre background and be a triple threat.

OPERA SINGER: Fresh off the boat from Iowa and hoping to catch her big break. 20s. Must have operatic and pop vocal training.

FEMALE BALLET DANCERS: Dancers performing a piece on the Columbus Circle fountain. Must have extensive ballet training and pointe expertise.

MALE BALLET DANCERS: Dancers performing a piece on the Columbus Circle fountain. Must have extensive ballet training.

WHEN: Auditions will be held March 21 and 22
