WHO: The Ride
SEEKING: Ride Managers
RESPONSIBILITIES: Ride Managers are responsible for managing the logistics of coordinating facets of THE RIDE performances while on duty, including but not limited to vehicle timing coordination, performer locations and supervision, and dispatching of vehicles, technicians and performers. Ride Managers are also responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient system of dispatching and management of both entertainment personnel and entertainment vehicles
.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
-Adhere and manage while on duty the plan and system to dispatch entertainment vehicles on a timeline consistent with schedule; administer this system with on a daily basis while on duty
-Coordinate timing of entertainment vehicles during a specific shift in relation to other vehicles dispatched on that shift (IE, tracking to keep entertainment vehicles an appropriate distance from each other, troubleshoot traffic, weather or other potential incidents that may arise)
-Troubleshoot and re-route vehicles as needed due to weather, traffic or other unforeseeable reasons
-While on duty, act as main management point person to performers and technicians on day- to-day production logistics.
-Check performer payroll on a daily basis in online system.
-Keep accurate records of performer check-in, start and end times.
-Manage assistant stage management capacities as needed during rehearsals and technical rehearsals.
REQUIREMENTS: This individual will have a strong background in theatrical stage management, thrives in a fast paced environment, is tech savvy, displays strong organizational abilities and has a positive leadership style. This is a part time position eligible for health insurance and additional benefits.
