Part-time House Manager
WHO:Ars Nova Theater
SEEKING: House Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES: The House Manager is responsible for managing Front of House staff, communicating with stage managers and artists to ensure seamless operations, preparing for and closing out each show, operating ticketing software, stocking the bar, and providing excellent customer service to all audience members as the primary representative of the theater.
REQUIREMENTS: The ideal candidate should be an enthusiastic leader with strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment while remaining calm under pressure. Fire guard certification and CPR training is a plus.This is a paid position requiring evening week/weekend availability to cover all Ars Nova evening programming. The position averages 15 hours per week, including a few office hours. Due to the nature of Ars Nova’s programming, the schedule varies throughout the year.
