SEEKING: Advertising Associate

RESPONSIBILITIES: The Pekoe Group seeks an experienced, ambitious and exceptional media planner/buyer to plan, negotiate, buy, and implement excellent media campaigns across print, outdoor, online and broadcast platforms. Your responsibilities would include:
•Plan, communicate, negotiate, buy and implement effective and constantly improving media strategies for client campaigns
•Ensure client satisfaction and retention across all projects
•Deliver expert knowledge of all forms of media understanding and supplier needs
•Be proactive in planning and delivery
•Identify new media opportunities and services for clients
•Attend and present media opportunities at client meetings
•Negotiate best possible rates on behalf of clients
•Responsible for ensuring all activity billing is done in a timely and accurate manner
•Manage insertion orders for media placements
•Track ad placements and collect proofs of completion
•Compile proposals and make recommendations for clients based upon their marketing goals and budget
•Oversee ad campaign from concept through execution to ensure proper implementation
•Research new media leads to help grow the business

REQUIREMENTS:
•Organized, innovative, enthusiastic team player with good communication skills
•Quick to learn, creative, exceptional attention to detail
•Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects
•A strong sense of urgency and commitment to get the job done quickly and with high quality
•Experience and knowledge with media planning, buying and traffic processes
•Minimum of one year of media planning or media buying experience either at an agency or media owner

WHEN: Job start date is 4/16/2012

PAY: Salary commensurate with experience
