Press & Marketing Associate

Vital Theatre Company seeks a full-time Press & Marketing Associate to assist in the design of the season marketing collateral (season brochure, postcards, posters, online and print ads) and to assist with public relations responsibilities.

The ideal candidate must be familiar with creating press releases, online advertising and marketing, social media (knowledge of how to navigate and manage sites like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google Adwords), and keeps up to date on the latest in social media and internet marketing concepts. Other responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to, proofreading, management of websites and website updates, creation of e-blasts.

Ideal candidates will also have experience in multitasking and prioritizing large projects in a fast paced, high energy environment.

Graphic design experience and knowledge of graphic design software a plus.

The position is a full-time, hourly position with compensation commensurate with experience.
