Tony Pool Winner Announced! And how did me, you, and our Psychic do?
There were more shockers in this year’s Tonys than in Next to Normal! (Get it?)
And the number of those surprises affected all of our scores.
In last year’s Tony Pool, we had TEN folks pick a near perfect 25 out of 26 right. This year, the winner is taking home the iPad with only 23 out of 26 correct, or an 88% (which is still pretty dang good).
I had one of my worst years ever, only nailing 17 out of 26, compared to the majority of you (when looking at the survey results), who picked 21 out of 26.
How did our psychic, Miss Rose, do?
Well, thankfully for me (as well as our legal system), I won’t be heading to law school anytime soon because Miss Rose scored only 8 out of 26 correct.
Next year, I’m going to see if a monkey can beat me.
Ok, enough of all this monkeying around . . . who is the lucky duck who’ll be taking home the iPad?
With that “B+” score of 23 out of 26 correct . . . congratulations to . . .

I got a 12 out of 26. I am ashamed at my score, but proud that I guessed Best Musical and Best Featured Actress in a Play correctly. yay Judith Light!
Always fun to play along!
I’m guessing none of you guessed Porgy and Bess for Best Revival…and I’m glad you were wrong!
BTW, Corbin and the Godspell company looked great on stage.
Cheers!
Lots of surprises this year, I thought…but always enjoy the show!
I forgot to keep track, but I’m pretty sure I nailed most of them. And I learned, that I have GOT to get out that way and see Peter and the Starcatcher, because that just looks FANTASTIC! And I really need to see Leap of Faith, as well!
Such a fun show this year! NPH is my favorite host of all times, and he needs to host everything, from here on out.
