POSITION: Marketing & Communications Manager
DESCRIPTION: NYC nonprofit, The New 42nd Street, seeks Marketing & Communications Manager for the New 42 and The New Victory Theater. As part of a five-person team, the Marketing & Communications Manager implements membership and single-ticket marketing plans; creates and tracks campaigns and budgets; coordinates media placement; serves as daily contact for marketing partners and vendors; analyzes and reports on sales trends and historical data; develops sponsorships and promotional packages; writes/edits sales copy; and represents The New Victory Theater at public events.
Candidates for the position should have BA/BS degree; minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in marketing; excellent writing, communication, organizational and managerial skills essential; must be able to multitask under pressure in an exciting, fast-paced work environment. Knowledge of Tessitura software required.
The New 42nd Street oversees the revitalization of seven historic theaters on West 42nd Street in New York City, and owns and operates The New Victory Theater (New York’s first theater for kids and families), The Duke on 42nd Street, and the New 42nd Street Studios (rehearsal studios for dance & theater).
