Who won the tickets to Annie on Broadway?

Before we announce who’s sun will be comin’ out tomorrow when they see Annie on Broadway for free . . . let’s take a look at the results of our poll.

We asked what you thought was the reason for Annie’s long term success.  Was it:

A) The Kids

B) The Dog

C) The Music

D) The Cartoon it was based on

E) All of the above

And you answered:

A) The Kids – 22.11%

B) The Dog – 5.7%

C) The Music – 28.8%

D) The Cartoon it was based on – 2.8%

E) All of the above – 40.3%

I’m going to agree with the majority here . . . and this applies to Annie and all big fat hits out there.  It’s never one thing that makes a smash.  It’s not one star, one song, or one set piece.

It’s everything.

It’s like soup.  It’s the combination of all the ingredients that make the musical!

And Catherine Jampel, you’re going to sample that Annie soup in all its glory for free, because you won!  Email me to see up your seats.
