It has come to our attention that some of our users are receiving an error message on their iOS devices stating that the podcast episode is “temporarily unavailable.” We do apologize for the inconvenience. However, this is an ongoing issue with iOS related to how the Podcasts App syncs with your iTunes account on your computer. It may also be related to podcasts that are started on one device and continued on another. This issue is a widespread one in the Apple support forums, and you may encounter it on other podcasts with varying consistency.

Possible Solutions & Workarounds
- Since this is an issue with how iTunes syncs with your phone, one fix that seems to work consistently is to sync your iPhone/iPad wirelessly with your computer’s iTunes software as opposed to connecting with USB port, which seems to resolve this issue. This method may not be possible on all operating systems, but it has worked between Mac and iOS devices. For instructions, click here.
- We recommend using a third party podcast app, such as Stitcher or iCatcher if you would like to listen on your phone. The episode is also available for streaming and download right here at The Producer’s Perspective.
