Where there’s a Will . . .

. . . there’s a recoupment!  Woo-hoo!

At least now there’s one positive thing to come from the George W. presidency.

    Congratulations!

Well, of course it recouped. It’s like when the Met Opera premiered “The Ghosts of Versailles” some dozen years ago. At it’s like “Wicked.” It makes its audience thinks it’s intelligent because it understands the references. Just like this show. It speaks to a liberal coastal sensibility that congratulates itself and doesn’t ask too many questions of its paradigm. Let’s wait three and a half years into the present administration and see if there’s an audience for a revival of this show. Or, better yet, see how much of a demand there is for it NOW in non-coastal cities.
