WHEN: 1st rehearsal: April 20, 2010. Runs: May 15 – June 20.

SEEKING: Seeking the following roles only. Casting Director states, “All of these roles are open to actors from all ethnic and racial groups.”

El Gallo: Late 30s – late 40s. Handsome, charismatic, mysterious, confident. Strong presence and sex appeal. Strong baritone.

Matt: Seeking actor to play age 18. Matt is smart. Has adventurous energy. Goes from a romantic innocent to an experienced young man of the world. Lyric baritone to tenor, good actor/singer needed.

Hucklebee: Late 40s – mid 50s. Matt's father. Military man; strict, no-nonsense. Role for a character guy, good comedian. Sings and moves.

Bellomy: Late 40s – mid 50s. Luisa's father. Sweet, overly attentive and indulgent dad. Role for a character guy, good comedian. Sings and moves.

NYC auditions will be held February 16 – 17, by appointment only (callbacks February 18).
