Administrative Intern – Jaradoa Theater

WHO: Jaradoa Theater, a member-based company whose mission is to promote mercy, beauty and
truth through performance and service.

SEEKING: Interns in arts administration.

WHEN: Interns should expect to devote between 10-15 hours a week to this internship. The internship term is four months, April through July.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Interns will work closely with the managing artistic director and have the opportunity to be involved in a broad range of responsibilities and experiences.

-Research projects for programming
-Assisting with the literary committee
-Assisting with event registration
-Assisting with fundraising and development
-Assisting with database, photo and video archive, newsletter and vlog

Other opportunities include:
-Serving as Production Assistant on main-stage show
-Attending the scene study class
-Sitting in on production meetings
-Attending monthly play club
-Participating on various outreach projects
-Attending selected rehearsals and readings
-Being part of the Jaradoa Family

REQUIREMENTS: Applicants should be responsible, self motivated and organized; interested in theater and arts administration; possess strong communication, computer and research skills. We are a friendly, positive and fun community of theater artists who like to work together and to give back to the community and would like someone who fits into that environment.
