General Management Intern – Jujamcyn Theaters

WHO: Jujamcyn Theaters is the owner and operator of five Broadway theatres: the St. James, the Al Hirschfeld, the August Wilson, the Eugene O’Neill and the Walter Kerr.

SEEKING: Its general management office seeks a responsible, motivated intern to commit part time immediately through the end of May, with the possibility of continuing in summer.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Interns would experience the day-to-day operations of a Broadway theatre-owner, gain an insider's perspective to the business and come into contact with individuals from all levels of theatre management. Projects may include shadowing house managers and observing load-ins/outs of Broadway shows, in addition to clerical and administrative work. Interns will work closely with general and associate managers, as well as others in the commercial theater field on all levels. School credit can be earned by making arrangements with your department.

RESPONSIBILITIES: We seek a time commitment of 20 – 30 hours per week, including some time on weekdays between 10 AM to 6 PM, and flexible evenings and weekends.
