Operations Internship – Jujamcyn Theaters
WHO: Jujamcyn Theaters owns and operates five theaters on Broadway.
SEEKING: a responsible, motivated intern to commit for the summer to the Operations Department
RESPONSIBILITIES: Interns will gain a 'nuts and bolts' experience of running a chain of Broadway theaters and gain an insider’s perspective into the upkeep and maintenance of these unique, land-marked buildings. Interns will work with individuals from all levels of theater operations and management and outside contractors and vendors. Interns will work directly with the Operations Department, assisting them with their current projects and whatever the daily operations crisis management presents us with. No two days will be alike.
•A strong interest in theatre
•Solid problem solving skills
•Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
•Excellent organizational skills
•No problem jumping into any project
WHEN: Minimum 20 hours per week commitment, flexible within the hours of 9 AM to 6 PM, Monday to Friday. Interviews will take place in March or April; internship begins in May, early June.
COMPENSATION: Daily stipend provided.
