Disney Theatrical Group (DTG) operates under the direction of Thomas Schumacher and is among the world’s most successful commercial theatre enterprises. Through Disney Theatrical Productions and Disney Live Family Entertainment, DTG brings live entertainment events to a global annual audience of more than 19 million people in more than 50 countries. Its newest ice production, Let’s Celebrate!, features the live debut on ice of Princess Tiana from Walt Disney Pictures' "The Princess and the Frog." Disney Live! Mickey's Rockin' Road Show hit the road in August 2009 on a 75-city U.S. tour. In addition, DTG licenses musical titles for local, school and community theatre productions through Music Theatre International.

SEEKING: two (2) part-time Ticket Sales Representatives, who are very energetic and highly motivated. These positions will report directly to the Manager, Sales and Ticketing.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The Ticket Sales Representatives will be responsible for driving sales within the NYC market through outbound guest interaction. This is an entry level sales position, and may be a great opportunity if you've been seeking to work in a dynamic and energetic environment.

•Preserving strong relationships with TDF/TKTS staff as well as other show promoters
•Positively interacting with guests looking to purchase tickets
•Making contact with businesses through on-site cold calls and networking by visiting properties
•Work with Sales & Ticketing Manager to reach sales goals
•Maintaining and stocking sales brochures/flyers

REQUIREMENTS: Applicants should be enthusiastic and outgoing persons with exceptional communication skills. Individuals must be able to work independently, manage projects, analyze situations and identify potential solutions with the willingness to assist in whatever is needed to complete the task. The ideal candidate(s) will exhibit superior relationship building and problem solving skills, be a team player with a positive attitude, display a high degree of integrity and possess excellent oral communication skills. Knowledge of Theatre and prior experience in the theatre/entertainment/sports/hospitality industry is a plus.
