Arts Administrative Intern – Transport Group Theatre
WHO: OBIE and Drama Desk Award-winning Transport Group Theatre Company
SEEKING: A hard-working, enthusiastic intern for part-time arts administration support, primarily in marketing, for the remainder of the 2010 season. Intern will work closely with the Development Associate and Executive Director to market An Evening With… and our upcoming production of a world-premiere musical scheduled to open this summer.
REQUIREMENTS: Self-motivated person with strong organization skills, good phone manner, ability to work independently, ability to prioritize tasks, great creativity and proficiency in MS Office. Experience with graphic design or web maintenance a plus, but not required. The ideal candidate is a current/recent grad student or ambitious undergrad available to work May 3 – August 27 (schedule can be flexible to accommodate vacations, etc.). There is opportunity to extend the internship into the 2011 season.
This internship provides the opportunity to gain great understanding of the operations of a small non-profit theatre company. No pay, but may receive credit if applicable; we will provide candidate with a professional reference from a reputable, Off-Broadway theatre company. Also, there is the possibility of future employment with Transport Group.
SCHEDULE: Mon – Fri, 1 – 5 PM (may be flexible depending on your schedule)
