Digital Marketing Manager – Roundabout Theatre Company

SEEKING: Digital Marketing Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for managing a best-in-class email marketing program to increase awareness and revenues for Roundabout as well as creating content for portions of Roundabout’s website, overseeing Roundabout’s social media presence, and collaborating on electronic advertising. This position reports to the Director of Marketing and works very closely with other members of the Marketing team and Web team and staff across the entire organization.
This individual should have very strong writing and organization skills, a strong marketing sensibility and experience in electronic marketing.
Specific responsibilities include:
-Write, compile and edit institutional marketing emails; advise other departments on email operations
-Formulate segmentation and targeting strategies; pull lists and deploy campaigns
-Implement A/B testing and coding for analytics tracking
-Provide weekly reporting of email performance, highlighting relevant trends including open/click-through rates, traffic and revenue generated from efforts
-Collaborate with Associate Director of Marketing to build calendars and timelines
-Oversee production of videos including developing interview questions and scripts; arranging for locations and crews; directing recording sessions and producing and /or editing in post-production
-Write, compile, and edit content for Roundabout’s blog
-Collaborate with Associate Director of Marketing and outside agencies on electronic media buys and web promotions
-Oversee Roundabout’s social media efforts; chairing internal social media committee and collaborating with press office on social media strategies
-Keep current on email and social media trends/ innovations and make recommendations on new features and applications
-Monitor the email marketing of other cultural institutions and relevant for-profit businesses
-Perform occasional volunteering for events
-Additional responsibilities as assigned related to redesign of RoundaboutTheatre.org
-Exceptional writing skills; experience with writing for the web preferred
-Excellent communication and organizational abilities; a collaborative spirit and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
-Attention to detail, excelling in organizing and prioritizing; schedule-driven and results-focused
-Awareness and appreciation of Roundabout’s positioning, messaging and voice
-Design sensibility and basic Photoshop and/or graphic design skills
-Theater knowledge and appreciation preferred
-Email marketing and/or direct marketing experience and comfort with content management systems and web analytics
-Tessitura and TMS/Wordfly experience preferred
-Basic HTML or programming knowledge
-Four or more years of relevant experience
