We’re looking for someone to join our Client Services Department in an entry level position as a Client Services Representative (CSR). The CSR will provide data management support to the Client Services Team by maintaining client patron databases and performing list management requests. Our clients often request copies of their lists, or specific segments, so you will be responsible for providing them with that data. You will also be working directly with clients to answer their daily questions and provide direction on how to use PatronMail and other Patron Technology software.

* Handling incoming customer questions and support requests
* Conducting regular client check-ins
* Conducting regular training webinars
* Developing creative and interactive materials for our training center
* Working on special projects

This position will suit a hard-working, organized, and enthusiastic individual. You should LOVE details and take pride in your work, because this job is about the details. You will work fairly autonomously, but you will have guidance whenever it is needed.

PAST EXPERIENCE: We’re looking for someone with an interest and/or experience working in the arts/nonprofit industry. Past experience in customer service and/or using e-marketing tools is a plus, but not necessary. Excellent communication skills and telephone manner and a high level of computer literacy are essential. It is not at all necessary to have a technology background; you can learn what you need to know.

Be able to think on your feet, meet deadlines, and work well independently and as part of a team. Most importantly, we want someone who is smart and detail-obsessed and enjoys working with our clients.

COMPENSATION: This is an entry-level position; recent college grads are encouraged to apply.
Salary $28K, full health insurance paid 100% by company, and 401K.

TO APPLY: If all this sounds like a great fit for you, write to us and tell us why. Don’t even THINK about applying for this job without a well-written, customized cover letter. Tell us why you want to work for us! A creative and unique letter – that explains why this job is perfect for you – is more important to us than a resume full of experience. Of course, an interest (if not a background) in the arts is extremely important, too, but that’s only because it means you will like working here.

So check out our site and see what we’re about, write us a cover letter that tells us why you like us, and send it over. What are you waiting for? Apply already! We’re excited to hear from you!
