Marketing Assistant – Lincoln Center Theater

WHO: Lincoln Center Theater

SEEKING: Position open in mid-July 2010 for Marketing Assistant at Lincoln Center Theater.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The Marketing Assistant reports to the Director of Marketing and assists in the advertising, direct marketing, audience outreach and customer service components of Lincoln Center Theater's marketing process. Responsibilities include daily sales reports (STAR system), coordination of member communications, working with the advertising agency, serving as a liaison with Telecharge.com for show set-up and customer service matters and website content support.

In addition, the Assistant handles day-to-day tasks for the Director of Marketing as required including collateral and archive coordination, signage needs, box office communication, etc.

REQUIREMENTS: The ideal candidate for this position has strong interest in the theater, excellent writing skills, and solid Word and Excel. Quark and Photoshop a big plus. Minimum 1-2 years work experience required; this is NOT an entry-level position.
