SEEKING: Equity Principal Auditions

Stanley: AVAILABLE ROLE. 20s. Charming, uncomplicated, quirky and a bit awkward. Stanley comes to represent youth and hope in our story. Seeking an actor who sings well and has guitar/bass experience. Extremely interested in actors of all body types and ethnicities.

Johnnie/Bobbie: AVAILABLE TRACK. 20s-30s. Johnnie: Confident young man who bothers Myrtle for a bit of liquor. Bobbie: Laura’s young son who wants nothing more then to go to the circus. This actor must be musical and have the ability to play multiple instruments (open to all different instruments). Actor in this role will also understudy Alec, Stanley and Albert/Fred.

Laura / Beryl / Myrtle Understudy: AVAILABLE POSITION. Woman, 30s. Seeking an actor who sings well.

Note from Equity: All other roles/positions are cast with a pre-existing London (UK) ensemble. Should the NYC production’s run extend, Equity Principal Auditions for possible replacements will be held.

PAY: Contract Currently $1,605/week minimum.

WHEN: 1st reh. (London, UK, with pre-existing British ensemble): 8/23/10. 1st NYC reh.: Early September, 2010. 1st NYC performance: 9/8/10. Maximum NYC run: 3/13/11.
