Company Manager – Laramie Project National Tour
WHO: Tectonic Theater Project/The Laramie Project
SEEKING: An experienced Company Manager for its fall 2010 tour of The Laramie Project and The Laramie Project: Ten Years Later to six University based presenters.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties include attending to the daily, special and emergency needs of a 10+ member company including actors, designers and directors; arranging housing and transportation; liaising between company members and Tectonic; maintaining company records including contracts, payroll and contact information for all companies. Company Manager will work six days a week and weekends are required.
REQUIREMENTS: Candidate must have past experience as a company manager or working in a theatrical general management or producing office. Candidate must be detail oriented, able to perform multiple tasks, and be able to communicate well with producers, local presenters, and company of actors and crew. Candidate must be proficient in Word and Excel. Must be able to remain calm under pressure, prioritize multiple projects and have excellent communication skills. Valid driver’s license and ability to carry 40 lbs is required.
WHEN: Rehearsals are August 1-29, Tech is September 17-23, and performances are September 24-November 13. October 25-November 7 will be an hiatus.
PAY: Salary is $1,000 per week, pro-rated hourly for pre-production and hiatus weeks.
