Company Manager – Power Balladz
WHO: Davenport Theatrical
SEEKING: Davenport Theatrical Enterprises is seeking a Company Manager for an upcoming off-Broadway musical cabaret Power Balladz performing at the Midtown Theater.
REQUIREMENTS: Candidate must have past experience as a company manager or working in a theatrical general management or producing office. Candidate must be detail oriented, able to perform multiple tasks, and be able to communicate well with producers, theater management, and company of actors, musicians, and crew. Candidate must be proficient in Word and Excel. Candidate should have some experience working with Quick Books. Knowledge of Ovationtix ticketing system a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Company Manager will be responsible for day to day operations of the production, including box office reporting, payroll, budgeting, accounting, and contracting as well as nightly attendance at the show. Company Manager will work closely with the General Manager and Marketing Manager to implement advertising and marketing promotions.
WHEN: Position begins July 7, 2010. Rehearsals begin July 15, and performances begin on August 5, 2010. Company Manager will work six days a week and weekends are required.
PAY: This is a non-union position. Salary based on past experience and familiarity with the operating systems.
