WHO: The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey
SEEKING: Company Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties include attending to the daily, special and emergency needs of a 250+ member company including staff, seasonal employees, actors, designers, directors and Summer Professional Training Program students; arranging housing and transportation; planning and implementing company events; liaising between company members and STNJ; maintaining company records including contracts, payroll and contact information for all companies.
REQUIREMENTS: Prior experience is required. Candidate will be hard-working, detail oriented, extremely organized; must be able to remain calm under pressure, prioritize multiple projects and have excellent communication skills. S/he must be comfortable interacting with all levels of company members from interns to high profile actors to Trustees. Proficiency in Word, Outlook and Excel is required; Access a plus. Knowledge of the NY/NJ metro area preferred. Valid driver’s license and ability to carry 40 lbs is required.
PAY: Salary is commensurate with experience; good benefits available.
