SEEKING: General Management/Marketing Intern
RESPONSIBILITIES: The General Management/Marketing internship includes helping to create/disseminate marketing and promotional materials, daily phone/fax/mail tasks, filing, errands, and computer assignments. Office Hours are Monday-Friday, 10am – 6pm.
REQUIREMENTS: All applicants must be extremely responsible, professional, organized, and have a very positive attitude. Successful applicants must have enthusiasm for theater and new works and a desire to learn and grow within the theater industry. Necessary skills include: ability to multi-task, excellent communication skills and extreme proficiency with social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and various blogging sites. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel is a must, familiarity with Illustrator, Photoshop and/or other design programs is a plus. Previous office experience preferred.
WHEN: Immediate Hire
COMPENSATION: Our company offers an intense and comprehensive look at theatre marketing and management. Interns are able to shadow our marketing and company managers for all of our productions in New York, as well as observe other aspects of the business including stage management, general management and production. Other activities include helping out at special events such as developmental readings of new works, benefits and more. Possible stipend or college credit available.
