SEEKING: Marketing & Communications Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Marketing & Communications Manager will monitor and implement all marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, mailings, promotional materials and grassroots strategies for CSC. They will be responsible for the creation of all in-house marketing materials including promotional and collateral materials and will update and maintain CSC's growing mailing list. The Manager will work directly with CSC's Executive Director in designing and implementing marketing and advertising plans for each production and will have direct contact with media, ad agencies, marketing companies and graphic designers. This position also maintains the print advertising & marketing production schedule, and manages and copy edits other materials published by the theater, including each show's Playbill as well as CSC's member newsletter.
REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate will have a passion for the arts, strong leadership, communication, organizational and computer skills, as well as a proven ability to proactively manage multiple deadlines, and have strong writing and editing skills. Applicant must be detail-oriented and professional in every respect, and be able to multi-task, organize and self motivate. Must be familiar with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, MS Publisher, Adobe Acrobat and InDesign. Proficiency in these programs preferred. Minimum 1-2 years work experience required.
