WHO: Davenport Theatrical Enterprises is an independent theatrical production, development, management, and consulting company based in New York City. Founded in 2004 by Ken Davenport, DTE produces, develops, and manages theatrical productions on Broadway, Off-Broadway, on National Tours, and around the world. Credits include the upcoming revivals of Godspell and A Few Good Men; Broadway productions of Oleanna starring Bill Pullman and Julia Stiles, Speed-the-Plow starring Raul Esparza, Will Ferrell’s You’re Welcome America, Blithe Spirit starring Angela Lansbury, and 13; as well as the Off-Broadway productions of Altar Boyz, The Awesome 80s Prom, My First Time, My Big Gay Italian Wedding, Power Balladz, Freckleface Strawberry, and Miss Abigail's Guide To Dating, Mating, & Marriage. SEEKING: We are seeking a Fall Intern in the Marketing Department. Applicants must be willing to commit to at least 20 hours a week. The hours would be Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 10am-1pm, Wednesday 10am-6pm, and Friday 3:30pm-6pm.
WHEN: Start as soon as possible and go through December, 2010.
PAY: A stipend is paid upon successful completion of the internship program.
