Broadway at the White House

A quickie today to remind you all to set your DVRs, your Apple TVs, your Eye TVs or your whatevers, for Wed., October 20th at 9 PM to catch ‘Broadway At The White House’ on PBS.

It features Elaine Stritch, Audra McDonald, Idina Menzel, Brian D’Arcy James, Karen Olivo, Tonya Pinkins, Chad Kimball and is emceed by Nathan Lane . . . so you know you’re in for some laughs.  The event was produced by Margo Lion and directed by George C. Wolfe.

Connecting The White House to the Great White Way is a wonderful thing, so lets show our support.

Oh, and here’s a little tip for all of you on a performance that won’t be broadcast.  Take a walk by The St. James Theater tonight, if you can get past The Secret Service.  There’s a fundraiser for the DNC featuring more Broadway stars, hosted by Sarah Jessica Parker and featuring speeches by Michelle Obama and Jill Biden.
