SEEKING: Digital Programs Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES: A.R.T./New York Website (www.art-newyork.org)
• Start and complete a migration to a member services CRM website (memberclicks.com). Will include project managing the build of a new website, writing content and cleaning all member data
• Assist A.R.T./New York staff with the new CRM as need be. Will include such actions as reporting, pulling reservation lists, changing records, adding events etc.
• Assist member theatre organizations with the new technology for program registration, member dues renewal, grant applications etc.
• Build a newsletter and produce an issue each week
• Keep content on art-newyork.org fresh and engaging and ensure the site is in good working order each day
• Establish and deliver on annual usage and engagement goals for the website, oversee Google Analytics, and regularly report on progress of those goals
• Recommend and manage SEO and Google AdWords strategies

New York Theatre Network (www.nytn.org)
• Become intimately familiar with and active on nytn.org
• Work closely with member theatre organizations to set up and utilize nytn.org
• Monitor how up-to-date content on NYTN is, and run programs to encourage members to post new data
• Attend to and manage the support@nytn.org email account

General
• Be in the virtual conversation with the New York City arts community
• Recommend to Director of Member Services online improvements, initiatives and campaigns for art-newyork.org and nytn.org

REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Some experience in content management systems, online user experience and best practices across multiple platforms and browsers
• Strong written communication skills
• Knowledge of and passion for New York’s theatre community

Skills:
• Excellent verbal and writing skills with a demonstrated ability to express ideas clearly and concisely, including editing and creating original materials
• Good judgment with the ability to effectively manage the expectations of others, make sound decisions within the scope of the job, and elevate issues as needed
• An eye for design to ensure alignment with brand standards and an exceptional experience for users of the site
• An optimistic attitude with the ability to interact positively with the members and staff
• Demonstrated ability as a “self-starter” who shows the initiative to carry assignments beyond the original instruction in anticipation of future opportunities
• Strong organizational skills, deadline and service driven, team oriented
• Passion and curiosity for social media

WHEN: Application due by November 5, 2010.

PAY: Salary and Benefits:
• $32,500 annual
• Position may be extended if funding is available
• Health Coverage to begin on first day of work

• 10 days vacation time plus the week between Christmas and New Years
