SEEKING: Editorial/Book Production Intern
RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties will be split among two different departments in the company—book production and editorial—potentially offering a student a well-rounded experience of the professional play publishing business.
• Production duties may include assisting the Production Manager in copyediting scripts and digitizing materials, as well as website and database maintenance.
• Editorial duties will be comprised of reading and evaluating plays, archiving published plays, copyright research, and assisting the Managing Editor in the administration of the submission process.
• Other duties and opportunities, as they arise, may also be included.
REQUIREMENTS: Applicants should currently be pursuing, or recently in receipt of, a college degree. Graduate students are also welcome to apply. The internship is 20 hours a week, specific schedule to be determined upon acceptance.
WHEN: 1/17/2011-5/31/2011
PAY: There is a $50 per week stipend for this internship.
