SEEKING: Technical Director an event production company based in Raleigh, NC

REQUIREMENTS: The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience in the event production and special events industry with a background in lighting, sound, rigging and extensive knowledge in video. Strong design aesthetic, Vectorworks, budgeting, client interaction, and crew management skills are important. A college degree is required. Experience with video editing/ production software such as Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premier, and After Effects as well as timeline/ video cueing systems such as QLab, SFX, and Watchout is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Once a client has been secured, the Technical Director is involved in every step of the process from concept, design, budgets and inventory management to setup, operation and strike of the event. The candidate would be responsible for the accurate setup and efficient operation of all video related equipment, multiple video switching, calling camera shots, and troubleshooting video/ data projectors.

PAY: Salary based on experience. This is a full-time, year round position with a generous benefit package that includes health, dental, vision, and 401k.
