Casting for Sandy Wilson’s The Boy Friend – The Princeton Festival

SEEKING:
Principal roles in its June 2011 performance of Sandy Wilson's "The Boy Friend".

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performance dates for "The Boy Friend" are June 10, 12, 16, 18, 19, 23, 24, and 25 (matinee and evening performances on the 25th) at the Matthews Acting Studio in Princeton NJ. Rehearsals will begin on May 15, 2011.

WHEN:
Auditions will be held at Pearl Studios at 500 8th Avenue in New York City on Monday, February 21, 9am-3pm (Women's Dance Call 1:00-1:30pm, Men's Dance Call 1:30-2:00pm)

PAY:
Yes.

HOW TO APPLY:
All women interested in auditioning should plan to attend the women's dance call from 1-1:30pm, and all men should plan to attend the men's dance call, scheduled from 1:30-2pm. You will be taught a brief Charleston and tap routine, but tap shoes are not required. Vocal auditions will be held from 9am-12:30pm, and from 2-3pm. Those auditioning should prepare 16 bars of a piece from the musical theater repertoire, and have a second selection prepared to sing upon request. An accompanist will be provided.
