Company Manager- SF Playhouse

WHO: SF Playhouse

SEEKING: COMPANY MANAGER
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reports to the Producing Director and the Artistic Director and:
•Serves as principal support to the Producing Director and Artistic Director as the primary administrative leader of The SF Playhouse to all patrons, employees, vendors, volunteers, unions and staff.
•Assists in managing contract agreements and relations.
•Prepares and manages weekly payrolls.
•Responds to all in-coming inquiries about theatre rentals, prepares rental contracts and manages theatre rental residencies.
•Maintains general office management and organization.
•Acts as resource to the Marketing and Development efforts for project budgets and narratives as necessary.
•Serves as primary resource for new staff members.
•Schedules and oversees theatre events, including concierge night, subscriber parties and board meetings.
•Performs basic accounting functions including accounts payable, check writing, bank deposits, bank reconciliations, and monthly financial reports.
•Coordinates and manages volunteers and interns.
•Serve as backup to Client Services Manager in answering telephones, and supporting box office needs.

REQUIREMENTS:
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
•At least 3 years previous experience as Office/General Manager.
•Excellent staff management skills/experience
•Highly organized, efficient and confident nature
•Fluent in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel & Outlook
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills
•Time management skills
•Ability to prioritize a varied workload and work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
•Ability to identify and solve problems as well as act on one’s own initiative
•Ability to act with integrity and observe confidentiality
•Positive, enthusiastic and flexible attitude.
•Knowledge of Quickbooks
•Knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign
•Passion for theatre
