SEEKING:
Equity Principal Auditions/Understudies – Fat Pig

Equity Principal Auditions were held in December 2010 for the positions of Helen and Helen Understudy only. At these February calls, seeking the following available understudy positions only:

Understudy for Tom and Carter:
AVAILABLE POSITION. One actor understudies both roles (which are cast with Josh Hamilton and Dane Cook, respectively). Both characters are in their mid – late 30s. Seeking an actor with handsome, leading-man looks, great comic timing and style. Instantly likable. Because of the dichotomy of the two characters, an actor with great range is required. Tom and Carter are co-workers and best friends. They are contemporary businessmen with a frat boy mentality. Tom is the “nice guy” and Carter is the “troublemaker”. Both are quick-witted and funny. Tom is the romantic and Carter is the misogynist.

Jeannie Understudy:
AVAILABLE POSITION. Actress understudies Julia Stiles. Jeannie is in her early 30s. Works with Tom and Carter. She and Tom have dated, and there is a palpable tension between them. Carter and Jeannie don’t like each other, but still interact and enjoy annoying each other in an almost sibling way. Jeannie is stunningly beautiful, and knows it. Fantastic body (will appear in a bikini). She is the antithesis of Helen physically. Strong, tough and smart. Underneath the gorgeous, tough exterior is an insecure, good person.
