General Manager- Dixon Place

SEEKING: Great opportunity to help shape an organization from the inside out—Dixon Place, an award-winning, non-profit, performing arts organization seeks a dedicated individual with financial and business management experience.


–Minimum 5 years experience in bookkeeping, accounting, budgeting, contracting, financial planning and reporting; non-profit experience preferred. Additionally, all such bookkeeping and accounting skills required for the theater's lobby bar/lounge, a for-profit subsidiary.
–Highly organized; strong communication skills; team player.
–Computer proficiency (QuickBooks, Filemaker Pro, Word and Excel are absolutely essential).
–Work with Founding Director on oversight of day-to-day operations and the nuts-and-bolts of implementation, while developing and executing long-term strategies.
–Business development—generate earned income through commercial events/rentals.
–Sense of humor and passion for the arts.

WHEN: Four-month trial period; one-week paid vacation plus legal holidays after six months; two-week paid vacation, monthly health insurance contribution and opportunity for advancement after one year.

PAY: Salary: $40-50,000
