General Management Intern – Maximum Entertainment

SEEKING: Maximum Entertainment Productions is a Commercial Producer/General Manager currently working on shows for touring, Off-Broadway and Broadway. We are looking for an energetic and reliable intern with an interest in Theatrical Management.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Must be a responsible, detail oriented, problem solver with a positive attitude.
Currently our office is working on multiple tours, Off-Broadway and Broadway shows as General Manager and/or Producer. Office duties include answering phones, filing, errands and mailing. You will also have the opportunity to do research, marketing projects, and attend Readings and Workshops of new shows in development. You must have an excellent phone manner, the ability to multi-task and experience with Word and Excel. Experience with Access is a plus.
You will have the opportunity to learn about all aspects of touring, Off-Broadway and Broadway productions from developing new shows, to creating a marketing strategy, learning about the production process through the pre-production and rehearsal periods, to finally seeing the show on the stage.
WHEN: Dates are early May – mid August. There is some flexibility in start and end dates.
