Production Positions – Williamstown Theatre Festival

SEEKING:
Assistant Technical Director

The Assistant Technical Director shall report directly to the Technical Director and Production Manager. The responsibilities include technical drafting for the festival productions, reading/adhering to a designer's drawings, working with the Technical Director to order/purchase materials, working with guest designers to implement their designs, assisting with supervision of load-ins & strikes and shop builds, assisting with construction as needed, following all festival safety protocols as required, participating in the learning environment for intern & apprentices and other duties as assigned. The start/end dates for this position is June 5th – Aug 31st.

Lead Carpenter

The Lead Carpenter shall report directly to the Technical Director and Production Manager. The responsibilities include working in the scene shop on a daily basis, leading a team of carpentry staff, building scenery for all productions including load in's and strikes as assigned, maintaining equipment and facilities as needed, following all festival safety protocols as required, participating in the learning environment for intern & apprentices, and other duties as assigned. The start/end dates for this position is June 5th – Aug 30th.

Carpentry Intern

The Carpentry Intern shall report directly to the Technical Director and Production Manager. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: working in the scene shop on a daily basis, assisting in constructing the scenery for all productions, loading in, changing over and striking all Festival productions as assigned, maintaining equipment and facilities as needed, following all Festival safety protocols as required, participating in Festival learning environment for intern & apprentices, and other duties as assigned. The start/end dates for these positions is June 15th – Aug 28th.

Technical Director Intern

The Technical Direction Intern shall report directly to the Technical Director and Production Manager. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: working in the scene shop on a daily basis, assisting the Technical Director as assigned, assisting in constructing the scenery for all productions, loading in, changing over and striking all Festival productions as assigned, maintaining equipment and facilities as needed, following all Festival safety protocols as required, participating in Festival learning environment for intern & apprentices, and other duties as assigned. The start/end dates for these positions is June 15th – Aug 28th.
