The Sunday Giveaway: 2 Tickets to the High School Tony Awards aka The Jimmies.

You thought the award season was over, didn’t you?

Not yet, mon freres, not yet.

Next Monday night is the most exciting show in town . . . The Jimmies!

Named after the head of the Nederlander family, The Jimmies were created to recognize excellence in high school theater across the country.  You can read all about them here.

If you’ve been reading the blog for awhile, you’ll remember that I went last year, and had a blast.  It’s so much fun seeing the future of what we do singing and dancing in front of your eyes.

This one isn’t televised, but guess what?  We can get you in!

This week’s Sunday Giveaway is two tickets to The Jimmies.  How do you win?

Let’s give some shout outs to all those high school drama teachers out there that are so instrumental in the development of young careers and young lives.

Comment below (or email subscribers click here) with the name of your high school drama teacher and a little thank you (as if you were giving your own Jimmy acceptance speech), and I’ll pick a random winner this Saturday.

I’ll start:  To Mr. Amadio and Mr. Turgeon, who gave me a home after I quit the basketball team (in a scene more dramatic than anythng in High School Musical), and who showed me that just because everyone else was going one way, didn’t mean I had to follow.

Your turn!  And good luck to all the kids up for a Jimmy!
