Fall Marketing Internship
WHO: Manhattan Theatre Club
SEEKING: MTC is seeking a marekting intern for the remainder of the fall 2011 semester.
RESPONSIBILITIES: MARKETING Interns are directly involved with all marketing for MTC's season and special events. Interns work on the subscription campaign, advertising, direct mail, audience surveys, subscriber correspondence, department files, and archives. Interns also assist with copywriting and layouts for playbills, newsletters, and the MTC website. Knowledge of Windows, MS Office Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver are preferred but not required.
REQUIREMENTS: Work either a full-time stipend or part-time volunteer between the hours of 10 AM and 6 PM Monday through Friday. Are given intensive training as well as specific duties and projects in one department under the guidance of experienced supervisors. Optional evening and weekend work which pays $10/hr. Attend full-staff meetings and selected departmental meetings. Attend weekly educational seminars led by MTC Department Heads and guests from the MTC extended creative family. Have their own desk, computer, phone, and email account.
SALARY: $50 weekly stipend
