SEEKING: Full-time Manager of Instutional and Government Relations

RESPONSIBILITIES: Create customized proposals, reports and budgets for all foundation, corporate and government funders and prospects; Identify and research new funding sources; Maintain and follow an annual grant submission schedule; Ensure funding and restriction requirements are regularly communicated to the Finance Dept; Under the supervision of the Director of Development manage the design & production of NYTW’s Annual Report; Working in conjunction with the Data Base Entry Assistant oversee all institutional gift entries in the Raisers’ Edge Data Base.

REQUIREMENTS: 2+ years of grant development and writing experience, budget planning and development; with an emphasis on the arts and government RFP’s preferred; Excellent written and oral communication skills; Ability to work independently, prioritize time-sensitive projects and thrive in a deadline-driven environment; Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel and Raisers’ Edge); Bachelor’s Degree
