Student Performers Open Call for NYMF Concert

The Student Leader Program of the New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) is holding an open call for the concert PART OF IT ALL: Introducing the New Generation of Musical Theatre Composers which will take place on July 26th in two editions, one at 7 PM (hosted by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul) and the other at 10 PM (hosted by Drew Gasparini) at the 45thSt. Theatre (Mainstage) as a special event in the 2012 New York Musical Theatre Festival.

Who: Performers who are current college students or have graduated within the last two years.
What: A concert featuring new music by student musical theater composers in the New York Musical Theatre Festival performed by college students and recent graduates.
When: Saturday, June 30th, from 10 AM-6 PM. Sign up begins at 9 AM. Callbacks will be the following day, July 1st.
Where: The NYMF Hub (330 W. 42nd St. between 8th and 9th Ave.)

Please prepare 32 bars of a contemporary musical theatre song. Bring a headshot and resume (with college name and graduation year).

Please be advised that these auditions will be OPEN (in the style of American Idol or So You Think You Can Dance).15 performers will enter at a time to audition and be required to sit and watch the entire group. Once the group is finished, all those performers will be allowed to exit the space.
