A blog for Boston
It seems senseless to write about producing drama today, when a real life drama with real life tragedies is happening just a few hundred miles from here, in my home state of Massachusetts.
So I’m not gonna.
Because today my thoughts and prayers are with the people who were there at the blast, as well as the family and friends of those affected.
And I know yours are too.
And if you are like me, and feel like you want to help, and are going a little stir crazy because you’re so far away, then make a donation to the Red Cross . . . or make a donation at your local Blood Bank.
But take a moment to think about Boston today, and how you can help.
And we’ll get back to blogging about Broadway tomorrow.

When are these horrors going to end?
Thank you Ken. As a Bostonian it means a lot.
Thank you for thinking of our friends and loved ones that were affected. This Massachusetts guy will be in NYC tomorrow proudly wearing his Boston Shirt
This would be the point in the show when a song would start because words alone simply can’t convey the raw grief, sadness and also the love and caring this tragedy has produced. My heart goes out to my college town of Boston.
right on Ken.
so true…thank you for this post, and helping out the red cross.
Thank you for this appropriate and heartfelt post.
My thoughts and prayers are with the people there and
everywhere. People, start using energy in a positive
way.
From a theatre student in Boston, – thank you.
Thanks for your blog.
Loved “Macbeth”. Loved Mr. Cumming’s performance. Congratulations to all of you.
