The Sunday Giveaway: Airfare, Hotel and Two Tickets to Somewhere in Time in Portland!

I think of you guys as family.  And, I love it when my family sees my shows.  Especially the shows I’ve been working on for 12 (!) years.
In a perfect world, I would have won the Powerball a few weeks ago and I’d be able to fly all of you out to Portland, Oregon to see the world premiere of Somewhere in Time.  But my numbers didn’t come up (this time), so unfortunately, I can’t fly all of you out.

But I can, and will, fly one of you out!

This week’s Sunday Giveaway is a flight, plus a stay at Portland’s awesome Heathman Hotel, and of course, a couple o’ tickets to see Somewhere in Time at Portland Center Stage!

To enter, just visit the Somewhere in Time Musical Facebook page here, and follow the instructions.  I’ll announce the winner here on the blog as usual next Saturday.

I can’t wait for one of you to see it.  I feel like you all take the journey of each and every one of my show’s with me, and it always feels like you’ve got my back.  And I’m thrilled to be able to offer one of you a chance to see the beginning of this show’s journey, no matter where you live.

So enter the contest today . . . and hopefully you’ll be seeing Somewhere in Time soon.

  • Done! 😉 So great to see the photos and read comments from audience members that have seen the show. Congrats, Ken.

  • Laura K says:

What a generous prize! Thanks, Ken!

My 3 favorite films — Sound of Music, Pride & Prejudice and Somewhere In Time. I’m thrilled you’re turning it into a musical!

  • Paul Argentini says:

I entered your wonderful giveaway. I would have entered the extra chance if I had a photo or drawing of the Del Coronado Hotel where Somewhere In Time was originally to be filmed, but for some reason or other another equally beautiful hotel was chosen. I remember the Del when a ferry took you there and I still bear the scars of a particularly torrid affair, which, gratefully, was in my time.

  • David Rigano says:

Sounds awesome! I’m curious, though… is it one round-trip ticket and two theatre tickets? Do we have to find someone in Portland to use the second ticket or would we get to bring someone with us to Portland to see the show?

    Amazing give-away, as usual!

  • Blessie Nelson says:

Thank you so much for this wonderful chance! It would be a dream to win and see your magical musical! Thanks for all your hardwork!

  • I am not above groveling either

  • Denise Upton says:

I would love to visit Portland and see your show. I love musicals!

  • Diana B L says:

Ken could you please give a thorough step by step for setting up a system to expand the people who see your page in the FB universe and explain how getting a like on your musical’s page gets someone’s future attention to anything you post. Especially when someone does not release their FB friend list how is this working as a marketing tool?

  • John Adams says:

would be extra special to win as a Birthday present to myself to share with omeone special

  • Arnie Stein says:

Thank you for the opportunity to see a great city and a great musical! This would make a great Father’s Day gift!

  • I so loved your script when I read it. Story is unique and lyrical -we need some gentility and beauty on our stages

  • I so loved your script when I read it. We need some grace and gentility on our stages. This has all that and more

  • tickets says:

You actually make it seem so easy with your presentation but
I find this topic to be actually something that I think I would never understand.
It seems too complicated and extremely broad for me.
I’m looking forward for your next post, I’ll try to get the hang of
    it!
