POSITION: Box Office Manager
DESCRIPTION: Westport Country Playhouse seeks an experienced, detail-oriented box office professional to oversee the day-to-day functions of the box office and patron services from the point-of-sale through attendance for its 5-Play Season and surrounding year-round programming. Responsibilities include managing a professional box office that reflects the Playhouse’s high artistic and customer service standards; oversee all box office and ticket sales for single, group and subscriber base; supervision and training of box office staff; working closely with Sales Marketing Manager to maintain sales reports and customer data. This position reports directly to the Director of Marketing.
Candidate will have a passion for the performing arts and 2+ years of box office and ticket sales experience. Strong communication, organizational, and supervisory skills required. Experience working with Tessitura ticketing system strongly preferred.
