POSITION: General Manager
DESCRIPTION: TheatreworksUSA seeks a General Manager for IMMEDIATE hire. The position reports directly to the Producing Director and will supervise the Business Department staff. This person will be responsible for budget preparation and supervision, long-term business planning, cash flow statements, insurance, accounting, and general ledger maintenance, as well as managing A/R and A/P, payroll, deposits and disbursements, account reconciliations, royalty payments, audit preparation and other tasks.
Candidate must be highly proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks), payroll software (ADP preferred), spreadsheets and word processing. Requirements include 2-3 years minimum experience in the not-for-profit sector. A business, accounting, or arts management degree is preferred.
