POSITION: Theatrical Contract Administrator
DESCRIPTION: United Scenic Artists Local USA829, the national labor union representing scenic, costume, lighting, sound and projection designers is seeking a theatre department contract manager in the national office located in NYC.
Responsibilities include processing design contracts for theatre opera and dance; creating and disseminating contract reports; and extensive contact with theatrical producers, company managers and designers by phone and written correspondence. The ideal candidate will be articulate, persuasive and computer literate (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and proprietary database). Working knowledge of the theatrical industry and/or labor unions preferred. Salary commensurate with experience. Benefits include pension, 401k and health insurance.
