  • Grease 2 has always been one of my guilty pleasures. It’s awfully good fun! I would LOVE to see this show on stage! Are you seriously considering producing it? I think you’d have a hit on your hands because of the built-in brand and nostalgic appeal. Good luck!

The duchess hit up the National Portrait Gallery, of which she is a patron, to take in “Road to 2012: Aiming High,” an exhibition documenting London’s preparations for the Olympic games.

  • Suckers: Not all plants need lifting to separate them. Many produce new plantlets around the parent. Dig these up and remove in spring, which helps the parent retain its shape. Scrape back the soil, exposing the base of the plant and carefully pull off the long suckering root where it joins the parent. Cut back its main root to just below the fibrous, feeding roots, if there are several shoots on the sucker, divide the main root so that each shoot has its own roots. They have been through 3 or 4 chefs since our last visit and the current one is very new to the restaurant. We both loved the soup of the day which was a seafood chowder. This was thick, flavorful and full of chunks of seafood and vegetables. The rest of the meal was not so great. The mussels were of good quality but the broth options were either lacking in flavor or over powering in flavor. The fillet of beef was not a prime cut but was reasonable quality and cooked to order. The special appetizer was a Beef and brie crostini which was not bad except for the over powering sweet sauce that was drizzled over the dish. The special entre was a crab stuffed pumpkin ravioli which was just too sweet of a presentation including the sweet sauce that was drizzled over it too. The steamed vegetables were reasonable but the risotto that was served with most dishes was more like a mashed potatoes than a risotto.
