POSITION: Special Promotions Coordinator

DESCRIPTION: The Shubert Organization, Inc. currently has an opportunity within the Shubert Ticketing, Client Services Department for a Special Promotions Coordinator.

The work schedule for this position is Monday to Friday, 10:00am to 6:00pm. You will need to be available to respond to our clients as needed during evenings and weekends.

Duties will include:
•Create and maintain promotional codes for Broadway shows in STAR ticketing system and in Content Management System (CMS).
•Handle extensions and modifications of codes after they have been posted.
•Back up Client Information Coordinator on all CMS-related matters such as new entries and modifications.
•Send out closed show notice list on a weekly basis.
•Be available off-hours to provide backup for immediate changes, such as exchange codes for weather-related issues.
•Create seating charts for web site.
•Assist Senior Director with sales efforts (develop presentations, prepare proposals) as time permits.

Qualifications are as follows:
•Minimum of three years of ticketing experience
•Knowledge of STAR ticketing system preferable, experience with a ticketing system a plus
•Superior interpersonal, customer service and communication skills (both verbal and written)
•Attentive to details and strong proofreading skills
•Ability to thrive in a fast paced work environment while effectively multi-tasking
•Self-starter who is capable of learning new software quickly
